Join us today in celebrating International Youth Day!
This year's theme focuses on Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating a World for All Ages. Today is a day dedicated to raise awareness on the role of creativity and innovation in all aspects of human development . This year’s theme of collaboration echoes the need to ensure effective cooperation between the international community in working with one another to construct creative and inovative ideas in achieving the sustainable development goals . “Together we’re better ; Through a strengthened collaboration we can thus build the future we envision “. After all “Success is best when it’s shared “ Howard Schultz

April is sexual assault awareness month. Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is an annual campaign to raise public awareness about sexual assault and educate communities and individuals on how to prevent sexual violence. Each year during the month of April, state, territory, tribal and community-based organizations, rape crisis centers, government agencies, businesses, campuses and individuals plan events and activities to highlight sexual violence as a public health, human rights and social justice issue and reinforce the need for prevention efforts. You can show your support for survivors by wearing the color teal. “Awareness is the greatest agent for change” - Eckhart Tolle.

Join us today in celebrating International Day of Education. It was declared the international Day of Education by a resolution that was passed by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on 3rd December 2018. This years theme we focus on "Changing Course, Transforming Education". UNESCO's recent global Futures of Education report, transforming the future requires an urgent rebalancing or our relationships with each other, with nature as well as with technology that permeates our lives, bearing breakthrough opportunities while raising serious concerns for equity, inclusion and democratic participation. As we reflect on this years theme let us remember the strong words of Nelson Mandela- “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
